Domain Registration Agreement

Effective Date: September 1, 2025

This Domain Registration Agreement (“Agreement”) is entered into by and between Iloilo Web Hosting (“Provider”) and the customer (“Registrant”). By registering a domain name through our services, you agree to the following terms:

1. Role of Iloilo Web Hosting

  • Iloilo Web Hosting acts as an authorized reseller of domain name registrations through third-party registrars and ICANN-accredited partners.
  • We facilitate the registration, renewal, transfer, and management of domain names on your behalf.

2. Domain Registration

  • Domain names are registered on a first-come, first-served basis.
  • We do not guarantee the availability of a domain name until registration is confirmed.
  • The Registrant is solely responsible for the choice of domain name and its compliance with applicable laws.

3. Domain Renewals

  • It is the Registrant’s responsibility to ensure timely renewal of domain names.
  • Failure to renew may result in suspension, deletion, or loss of the domain.
  • Iloilo Web Hosting is not liable for domains lost due to late payment or missed renewals.

4. Domain Transfers

  • Domain transfers are subject to ICANN and registry rules.
  • Transfers may require an authorization code (EPP/Auth code) and compliance with 60-day ICANN transfer restrictions.

5. Fees & Payments

  • All domain registration and renewal fees are non-refundable once processed.
  • Prices may vary depending on domain extensions (TLDs) and registry fees.
  • Failure to pay will result in suspension or loss of the domain.

6. Registrant Information

  • Registrant must provide accurate and up-to-date information during registration.
  • This includes name, address, phone number, and email address.
  • False or misleading information may result in suspension or cancellation of the domain.

7. WHOIS Privacy (Optional)

  • Registrants may purchase WHOIS Privacy Protection where available.
  • Without this, your contact details may be publicly visible in the WHOIS database.

8. Use of Domain Names

  • Domains may not be used for illegal activities, including spam, phishing, malware distribution, or copyright infringement.
  • Violation may result in immediate suspension without refund.

9. ICANN Policies

  • Registrants must comply with all ICANN rules and policies, including the Uniform Domain-Name Dispute-Resolution Policy (UDRP).

10. Expired Domains

  • Expired domains may go through a grace period or redemption period set by the registry, during which additional fees may apply for recovery.
  • Iloilo Web Hosting is not responsible for domains lost due to non-renewal.

11. Limitation of Liability

  • Iloilo Web Hosting’s liability is limited to the amount paid for the domain registration or renewal.
  • We are not liable for domain disputes, loss of domains, or damages arising from domain usage.

12. Termination

  • Iloilo Web Hosting may suspend or terminate domain registrations for:
    • Non-payment
    • Violation of ICANN or registry rules
    • False or fraudulent registrant information

13. Governing Law

This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of the Philippines and applicable ICANN regulations.
